IBTS Teams with RSM McGladrey to Support Stimulus Projects

June 01, 2009 – Herndon, VA: The Institute for Building Technology and Safety (IBTS) and RSM McGladrey Inc. have teamed up to support government efforts to create jobs, promote economic recovery, and invest in public projects to enhance infrastructure as outlined in the American Recovery and Investment Act of 2009.

IBTS, a not-for-profit technical services organization, helps governments manage challenges, risks, and opportunities in the construction environment, serving as a bridge between the business community and government. Together with CPA firm McGladrey & Pullen, RSM McGladrey is the fifth largest accounting, tax and business consulting firm in the United States (Accounting Today).

IBTS and RSM McGladrey will focus their joint efforts on helping local and state governments and federal agencies meet the unprecedented accountability requirements of the stimulus act through comprehensive inspection and financial auditing services.

IBTS Chief Executive Officer Ashok Goswami said the IBTS-RSM McGladrey team brings a unique blend of skills to support government efforts to stimulate the economy.
