News IBTS's Maurice Kessler Earns Certified Fraud Examiner CredentialNovember 12, 2009 - Austin, TX: The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world's leading provider of anti-fraud training and education, is pleased to award Maurice A. Kessler, of Herndon, Virginia, the globally-preferred Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential. In order to become a CFE, an anti-fraud professional must meet a stringent set of criteria and pass a rigorous exam administered by the ACFE.
Mr. Kessler has successfully met the ACFE's character, experience, and education requirements for the CFE credential, and has demonstrated knowledge in four areas critical to the fight against fraud: Fraudulent Financial Transactions, Criminology & Ethics, Legal Elements of Fraud and Fraud Investigation.
Mr. Kessler joins the ranks of over 23,000 business and government professionals worldwide who have also earned the CFE certification. Mr. Kessler is the Controller for the Institute for Building Technology and Safety, a 501(c)(3) corporation created by government, for government to provide impartial evaluations, research and technical assistance to reduce the burden on federal, state and local departments across the United States.
