September 11, 2014 – Ashburn, VA:
Chris Doyle, Program Director at IBTS, will be available to discuss “Quality Assurance and Finance” on October 22 from 4:30 to 6:00pm at Solar Power International 2014 in Las Vegas.
At the Solar Power International 2014 conference, IBTS will discuss “Quality Assurance and Finance” with attendees during the Educational Poster Reception being held at booth #5100. The solar PV industry is booming and rapidly changing. The poster session gives attendees the opportunity to talk one-on-one with Chris Doyle about the Solar Access to Public Capital (SAPC) Quality Assurance Protocol, provider best practices, and how solar PV finance has evolved this year.
“Solar has seen many changes in financing and quality during 2014. We’ve seen the financing of solar systems go from primarily leasing to adding loans into the mix,” said Chris Doyle, IBTS Program Director. “The need to establish a national quality assurance protocol is necessary to protect all parties involved by instituting minimum requirements. Our clients depend on IBTS to make sure their Solar PV systems are installed safely and meet high quality standards.”
IBTS has become an industry leader in Solar PV Quality Assurance. As a non-profit, our goal is to ensure reliability, production and safety of installed systems for our partners and communities. Our inspections are documented using an online system proprietary to IBTS called Solar FIT. Our inspectors use this system to upload inspection details, giving our customers easy access to the complete inspection.
IBTS is also exhibiting at the conference. On hand will be Chris Doyle, Rudy Saporite and Dana Johnston from IBTS, as well as Matt Golden, IBTS Strategic Advisor. IBTS can be found on the second level, across from the Educational Posters, at booth #5309. Stop by to pick up your copy of the Solar PV Labeling Requirements Guide and the Solar PV Field Inspection Checklist. Also, ask for a Solar FIT demo.
